Haven't wrote for a few days as life's' been sooo busy of late. Everything's changing at the moment, in a positive way though!
I started A Levels on Wednesday and it's slightly daunting but mainly exciting to have the chance to meet so many; new, cool and interesting people.
So far I'm loving it, but all this commotion has left little room for writing (in my easily distracted case anyway).
However, we all need music and so I feel ready to write.
I've picked Greenday's 'Church On Sunday', as it was one of the songs that got me through my first 3 and quarter hour free period. (IPods are more of a God-send in college than anywhere else it seems). It was nice that my iPod reminded me how good it is, as I've loved this song for years now and so it seemed right to post.
You may also be wondering where the cringey, but ironically used, 'YOLO' in my title comes from.
The answer being, my current mood at the moment.
I've always been quite feisty I would say. To the point where it might take me a few minutes to decide something, but when I've decided on what to do, I stick to it. However, lately I seem to be quite out of character in that a few of my decisions have been so spontaneous.
I became most aware of this today, as when walking down the High Street, I suddenly thought; "I want to get my ear pierced".
Oh and by the way if you're thinking 'one ear? That's a little odd...', I should clarify I had both ears originally pierced years ago and mean adding another piercing in just one ear.
So I did.
As simply as that.
Without any pre planning, booking etc...
And I love it.
I do realise, there is a line as far as spontaneity goes though.
For example, if you didn't plan for tomorrow, you wouldn't have the fear to stop you from doing seriously stupid things. Obviously all actions have consequences and so you do have to think about the bigger picture, but that aside I think a little spontaneity is a good thing. It's probably the only time when you feel like you're actually living and I guess that's where the excitement comes from.
So yes, all in all it's been a good and surprising day!
Take care,
Molly x
