Woke up to a beautiful day and seen as I can’t get Birdy’s newest song out of my head, thought I may as well log on and waffle.
You may recognise it from a regularly played advert at the moment. (Like how casual I was there? Don’t want to mention the company under any breech of endorsement or something!). As soon as I heard it I fell head over heels, even the video is beautiful, though perhaps a little "‘Mr Brightside’ esque”?
However, despite my initial judgement, it isn’t a new song and was released in 2013.
Actually, the subject of the song is quite fitting to the lives many of my friends at the moment, who are flying the nest and venturing into the wonders of University life. I’m obviously going to miss them like crazy, but I’m honestly so excited for them! It’s amazing how life moves so quickly and how the pathway's we choose, change the course of it so dramatically.
